Freeze-dried longan is very similar to caramel flavoured popcorn in flavour. Each longan is removed from the shell and seed before freeze-drying. These are simply longanwith no sweeteners or preservatives, with natural sweetness. Slightly crunchy, juicy freeze-dried longansare a delicious fruity topping and snack.Freeze-Dried longan makes for healthy finger foods particularly with their soft texture and mild flavour.

USES
Suggested Usage
Great in dishes such as muesli, mixed with yoghurt and make smoothies, morning bowls, as the topping of ice cream. Theperfect balance of sweet and tart and are great when used in pies, jams and baked treats too.Can be aningredient for dishes and products like hot drinks (e.g. fruit and fruit-herb teas), cold drinks, fruit cocktails.They make a good snack on their own. They are also easy to sprinkle on salads and on sweet or savoury dishes.
